Rapper and actor Method Man, best known as a member of the iconic Wu-Tang Clan, was reportedly involved in an altercation at a Crunch Fitness gym on Staten Island, according to law enforcement sources.
The 53-year-old, whose real name is Clifford Smith, allegedly punched a 28-year-old man in the face seven times “with a closed fist”, according to NY Post.
Sources told the tabloid that the man had dated Method Man’s daughter over a decade ago.
The victim reported pain and dizziness but declined medical attention.
A complaint was filed with the NYPD, but no arrests were made.
The reason for the altercation has not been disclosed.
