Lil Yachty Launches Tequila-Based Seltzer "Yacht Water"

Lil Yachty is making waves beyond music with the launch of his new line of tequila-infused seltzers, Yacht Water.

The “Strike” rapper is now venturing into the beverage industry with a drink designed for those who aren’t typically fans of alcohol—including himself.

In a comedic video announcement dropped on his IG, Yachty admitted that he’s never enjoyed traditional alcoholic beverages, whether beer, wine, or cocktails. That led him to create Yacht Water— a simple, flavorful alternative made with Reposado tequila, fresh lime juice, sea salt, and sparkling water.

Yacht Water will debut in three flavors: Jalapeño, Key Lime, and Sunrise. Packaged in 12-ounce cans with a 5.8% ABV, the drink aims to offer a crisp and refreshing experience without the artificial additives found in other hard seltzers.

The brand is a collaboration between Yachty, Quality Control’s Coach K, and Atlanta-based Sneaky Pete Spirits. Yachty joins several other celebs trying their hand at the liquor game including Megan Thee Stallion, Beyoncé, and The Best Man franchise crew (Morris Chestnut, Taye Diggs, Harold Perrineau and Malcolm D. Lee).
