Tory Lanez Hospitalized After Being Stabbed In Prison
Rapper Tory Lanez is currently hospitalized after being stabbed while in prison.
TMZ reports that Tory (real name Daystar Peterson) was in the yard of California Correctional Institution at Tehachapi when he was attacked by another inmate.
The motive for the attack is unclear, but one source confirmed that the “Alone at Prom” artist was rushed by ambulance to a nearby civilian hospital in Bakersfield. Sources say that his injuries are non-life-threatening.
Tory is currently serving a 10-year sentence for the 2020 shooting of fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Despite the sentence, Tory and Megan are still battling it out in court, with the Houston raptress accusing him of enlisting bloggers to continue harassing her.
Throughout his time behind bars, Tory is continuing his music career. Just last week, he posted a photo with fellow inmates and announced that his next album will be dropping soon.
