At the 2024 InvestFest, Wyclef Jean stopped by *The Morning Hustle* to give fans a life update and tease exciting projects on the horizon. The hip-hop legend and Fugees frontman discussed the much-anticipated Fugees reunion tour, which will soon make its way to the U.S. Although the stateside leg has been pushed back to next summer, Wyclef assured everyone that it’s 100% happening. Until then, fans should keep their eyes peeled for European dates.

In addition to his music, Wyclef shared his passion for technology. Now a consultant for DeepMind, a division of Google, he highlighted his engineering background and his mission to inspire the next generation. “In 10 years, our kids will be the ones controlling AI, and that’s important. That’s why we’re here, spreading information for the youth.”
Wyclef also took a moment to reflect on his career, proudly boasting about his expansive and diverse catalog. “I don’t stick to trends,” he said, emphasizing the importance of authenticity in his work. Before leaving, he blessed the crowd with a fire freestyle, proving that, despite his tech ventures, he’s still got bars for days.
