Q Parker, a known as a member of the legendary R&B group 112, recently appeared on *”The Morning Hustle” to promote his latest solo project, “Beg.” In a candid and wide-ranging interview, Parker opened up about his new single, the dynamics of relationships, and his thoughts on the current state of R&B music.

Parker’s new single, “Beg,” serves as a reminder of the importance of acts of service in relationships. He emphasized that both men and women should actively engage in acts that make their partners feel valued and appreciated, dismantling traditional gender roles around courtship. “There should be no gender roles when it comes to begging,” Parker stated, adding that men should certainly go out of their way to make a woman feel special, but it shouldn’t be a one-way street.

“Men like flowers too,” Parker said, highlighting that the sentiment behind the gesture is often more important than the gift itself. For him, it’s about showing care and attention, a message he hopes resonates with both men and women.

With 22 years of marriage under his belt, Parker has plenty of wisdom to offer on sustaining a long-term relationship. He spoke about the inevitable “peaks and valleys” couples face and the importance of learning how to weather those storms together. For him, open communication and mutual respect are key components of a successful partnership, a message that he also aims to convey through his music.

During the interview, Parker also touched on the possibility of a 112 reunion, a question many fans have been eagerly waiting for. He reflected on the challenges of managing expectations and balancing the family lives of different group members. While he didn’t offer any definitive answers, he hinted that a reunion could be on the horizon, much to the delight of long-time 112 fans.

Parker spent some time reflecting on his time with Bad Boy Records and its founder, Sean “Diddy” Combs. Though his relationship with Diddy was relatively touch-and-go ( For lack of a better term). Parker acknowledged Diddy’s impact on the music industry and shared his perspective on Diddy’s evolution over the years—from the early days of Bad Boy to the 112 reunion tour. When asked whether he felt he was paid properly during his time with Bad Boy, Parker candidly admitted that negotiating his deal was a learning experience.

One of the highlights from this interview came when Parker shared his favorite memory of the late Notorious B.I.G. He fondly recalled a moment from their time together at Bad Boy, underscoring Biggie’s talent and the unique energy he brought to the label. This part of the interview, which lasted around 16 minutes, gave fans a rare glimpse into the personal side of Parker’s experience working with one of hip-hop’s most legendary figures.

In closing, Parker offered some final words on the importance of transparency and staying true to oneself. He stressed the significance of “keeping your noise clean” and being a positive role model in the community. For Parker, success isn’t just about music; it’s about leaving a lasting, positive impact on those around him.
