Microsoft 365 Is Experiencing An Outage, Update On Situation
Microsoft is currently looking into issues affecting its Microsoft 365 platform and the Teams app, as users have reported difficulties with services like Exchange and Outlook.
Downdetector has documented numerous complaints, highlighting widespread service disruptions.
On X, Microsoft shared an update early Monday, stating they are examining “an issue impacting users trying to access Exchange Online or Teams calendar functionalities.” Feedback from users suggests the disruption is affecting people worldwide.
Later, Microsoft noted they had pinpointed a recent system change as the likely cause. Efforts to undo this change are already underway, and the company is exploring additional steps to address the issue.
According to Downdetector, reports of disruptions started surfacing around 4 a.m. Eastern Time.
By 10 a.m., nearly 2,000 individuals had reported difficulties with Microsoft 365 functionalities, including accessing services.
Some users encountered trouble with Microsoft Outlook, such as difficulties connecting to the platform or sending emails, as per Downdetector logs.
By 9 a.m. Eastern Time, Microsoft stated they were actively working to resolve the problem but did not specify when full functionality would return.
