Lil Baby has all gas no breaks for 2025, and he’s making sure the streets know he’s here to stay. Fresh off the release of his WHAM album, Lil Baby is already stirring the pot with more heat, teaming up with Future for a joint project that’s got everyone talking. But nothing caught more attention than their recent music video shoot in Harlem for their song “99” — and it wasn’t just the fire beats or Future’s iconic style that had the internet intrigued.
The HipHop’s loved duo hit the streets of NYC, and let’s just say, they didn’t need any special effects to make waves. A man doing pull-ups with only half of his body (yes, you read that right!) stole the show, serving up a hefty dose of body positivity that had everyone rooting for him. The internet was loving it, but there was one small hitch — Future didn’t seem to get the memo about the surprise guest appearance.

In case you thought Lil Baby was planning to kick back after WHAM, think again. The 4PF honcho isn’t slowing down. He gave Spotify’s RapCaviar an exclusive peek into his hectic schedule, teasing not just his WHAM album but also a new joint project with Future.
“WHAM album, Dominique album, Can’t Be F—-d With tape — a compilation remember I was telling you I got that coming,” Baby shared. “Me and Future was working on a joint tape. We damn near got the joint tape done. Now [Young Thug] came home, and he ain’t going for that. He like, ‘S–t.’ And it actually [was] Thug’s idea.”
The mastermind behind this Future and Lil Baby collab was none other than Young Thug, who had been itching to see this duo team up. But now that Thug’s back, he’s got plans of his own, and he’s not about to be left out.
Lil Baby also revealed just how prolific Thug has been since coming home. In just over two months, the two have churned out about ten tracks together. “Thug, he a lab rat. All he do is God damn stay in the studio,” Baby said. “We done made so many songs together.”
With Thug back in the mix, the potential for a game-changing project is higher than ever. Lil Baby hinted that something big is brewing, and while he’s not spilling all the tea just yet, it’s clear this trio has something major up their sleeves.
If the man doing pull-ups wasn’t enough, East Coast legend Juelz Santana also made a cameo in the “99” video, seen casually puffing away and vibing to the beats. Harlem hasn’t seen this much action since Diddy decided to jog around the block with his whole crew.
