Fatt Smaxk Isn’t Putting On For New Atlanta Rap

Atlanta’s own Fatt Smaxk pulled up to The Morning Hustle breaking down his journey from lockup to legend in the making. Right off top, the crew touched on Smaxk being called the “hottest in the city,” with co-signs from ATL heavyweights 2 Chainz and T.I. Smaxk stayed humble, saying he refuses to let the praise give him a “big head.”

He spoke on mentorship, crediting Young Dro for pouring into him early. Now he wants to steer the youth away from the streets, keeping it honest: that path usually ends in jail, death, or snitching.

Smaxk also revisited his time on A&E’s 60 Days In, filmed during a bid on marijuana charges. He claims he was set up with a lighter to make him look bad on camera. Still, he says jail shaped him into a “real hustler.”

On the music side, he opened up about beating self-doubt. The mood turned heartfelt as Smaxk honored his late friend Butta B, remembering his pure spirit and telling his story through the song. He reminisced on growing up in tough Kirkwood, shouted out comedian Chico Bean, and had the studio cracking up with relationship humor about phones and snooping.

He closed by plugging Smack Season 3:Banks House and sharing his five-star jail recipe, “The Smack”—ramen, chips, pickles, mackerel, ranch, and onions wrapped in a tortilla.
