Here are some of the artists signed to QC who have helped shape the label’s legacy and continue to make their mark in music.
Migos
Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum trio Migos was one of the most influential groups in modern music. Their seminal album CULTURE debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. Its follow-up, CULTURE II, gave them a second consecutive #1 album in January 2018, opening with 150,000 streaming units, 38,000 traditional sales, and 11,000 track equivalent sales 225.6 million streams in its first week. Eight songs from the album hit Spotify’s Top 10 on release day, and it debuted at #1 in 62 countries on Apple Music, one of the platform’s largest debut weeks ever. CULTURE II has since surpassed 1 billion streams and is also Certified Platinum.
Trio members include: Quavo, real name Quavious Keyate Marshall, Offset, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus and the late Takeoff, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball.
Quavo and Takeoff were uncle and nephew, while Offset is their cousin the trio grew up together in Gwinnett County, Georgia, before forming the group. Takeoff passed away in November 2022.

Lil Baby AKA WHAM
Lil Baby is an Atlanta rapper who transformed a background in street life into one of hip-hop’s most rapid rises to stardom. After serving time in prison and losing friends to a similar path, he took the advice of Quality Control Music’s Coach K and P to channel his hustle into music. Within about two years, he became a certified phenomenon every project has gone gold or platinum, he was named BET’s Best New Artist of 2019, appeared on the covers of The Source and XXL, and racked up over 11 billion streams with three albums landing in the Billboard Top 100 in 2019 alone.
Lil Baby’s real name is Dominique Armani Jones.
City Girls
City Girls is a Miami hip-hop duo made up of JT and Yung Miami, childhood friends from Opa-locka and Liberty City who turned their bold, unfiltered style into one of rap’s most talked-about success stories. They broke out in 2017 with the diss track “Fuck Dat Nigga,” which caught the ear of Quality Control’s Coach K and led to their name and signing. Their debut mixtape, Period, followed, along with a star-making feature on Drake’s “In My Feelings.”
The Duo members include: JT, real name Jatavia Shakara Johnson & Yung Miami, real name Caresha Romeka Brownlee.
Lil Yachty
Lil Yachty, the Atlanta MC once crowned “King of the Teens,” has entered a new chapter as he turns 23 in 2020 and reckons with what his massive success really means for his legacy. Despite this newfound maturity, his forthcoming album Lil Boat 3 returns to the trilogy he started at 18, closing out the series as both an ending and a fresh beginning a chance to prove himself among rap’s elite while staying true to the playful, genre-bending style that built his career.
Lil Yachty’s real name is Miles Parks McCollum.
THE BOYKINZ
The BoykinZ a viral country-pop and R&B sister quartet originally from Snellville, Georgia. Formed by biological siblings Kylan, Anale, Nytere, and Alona Boykin, the group has been dubbed “the Black girls of country TikTok”. They are celebrated for their highly energetic, self-choreographed dance routines and distinct multi-part vocal harmonies.
Co-founders Pierre “P” Thomas and Kevin “Coach K” Lee announced the partnership, marking a historic milestone as the group became the first-ever country music act signed to the famous Atlanta hip-hop label. They join a powerhouse roster that includes or has included stars like Lil Baby, Quavo, City Girls, and Lil Yachty.

Marlo
Marlo was a rapper from Atlanta’s Westside, shaped by his upbringing in tough neighborhoods like Bowen Homes and the 9th Ward. He led PFK (Play For Keeps), a movement that caught the attention of Quality Control Music CEO Pierre “P” Thomas. Marlo passed away in July 2020. He launched his music career in 2017 with a joint project alongside fellow QC artist Lil Baby, 2 The Hard Way, followed by The Wire and 9th Ward God in 2018.
Concrete Boys
Concrete Boys is an American hip-hop collective and record label founded by Lil Yachty in 2020. The current lineup consists of Lil Yachty, Draft Day, Camo!, Dc2Trill, Honest, and their official DJ, Rio Amor. Former member Karrahbooo departed from the group in 2024. In March 2024, Lil Yachty officially launched his own record label imprint called Concrete Rekordz. This imprint is a joint venture backed directly by Quality Control Music and its parent company, HYBE America. The Concrete Boys collective serves as the flagship roster for the label.
Concrete Boys members include: Draft Day, real name Justin Javonn Daniels, Dc2Trill real name Dillan Caster, Camo! real name Cameron Schauer, Honest real name Trhae Mitchell.
24 Heavy
24Heavy is an American melodic trap rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. He is known for his emotional “pain music” and past association with the prominent hip-hop label Quality Control Music, collaborating with major artists like Young Thug, Lil Baby, and Gunna.
24Heavy’s real name is Ricky Hill.
Bankroll Freddie
Bankroll Freddie is a rising rapper from Helena, Arkansas, who worked his way into the industry before being discovered by Quality Control’s Pierre “P” Thomas. After P heard a freestyle Freddie posted on Instagram, he flew him out to LA, and Freddie was quickly signed to QC.
He made his industry breakthrough in 2019 with “Drip Like Dis,” enlisting labelmate Lil Baby and Memphis rap veteran Young Dolph. In 2020, he released his debut album, From Trap to Rap, featuring Lil Baby, Young Dolph, Lil Yachty, Moneybagg Yo, Tay Keith, and Renni Rucci, among others.
Bankroll Freddie’s real name is Freddie Demarus Gladney III
Duke Deuce
Duke Deuce is a 28-year-old Memphis rapper on a mission to revive crunk music for a new generation. Discovered by Offset, the Quality Control Music artist blends grim, gritty storytelling about his gang-affected hometown of Blackhaven with the ecstatic, high-energy sound of crunk, earning over 22 million global streams and a devoted fanbase drawn to both his intensity and his signature dancing style, gangsta walking.
Duke Deuce’s real name is Patavious Lashun Isom.
Metro Marrs
Metro Marrs is a rapper-singer from Atlanta’s Southside, calling himself a “popular loner” and he’s no newcomer to music, having started learning to record at just five years old while his father, Young Trimm, was signed to Tricky Stewart and The-Dream’s label, Red Zone. At 17, his distinctive, melodic voice caught the attention of Quality Control’s Coach K and P through his single “Oh Yea,” released with management companies Since the 80’s and Playbook LLC.

Lakeyah
Lakeyah is Quality Control Music’s newest signee, bridging the Midwest and Atlanta with a versatile sound that spans velvety R&B and hard-hitting rap. Born and raised in Milwaukee by a single mother of four, she grew up shy and studious, spending her nights reading novels like Rich Man, Poor Man and The Help given to her by her grandmother, while her lyrical talent quietly developed through her teenage years.
Wavy Navy Pooh
Wavy Navy Pooh is a rapper from one of Miami’s most dangerous districts, using his music to candidly chronicle the harsh realities of his upbringing. He credits Instagram with changing his life Quality Control’s Pierre “P” Thomas discovered him through the platform, DMed him for music, and quickly signed him to the label. Tragically, he was killed at age 28 in a January 2022 drive-by shooting in Miami.

Quay Global
Quay Global is an Atlanta producer whose distinctive sound rattling hi-hats, tense samples, and bouncy 808s has helped define a new era of Southern hip-hop. In just two years, he became a driving force behind multi-platinum hits for artists like Lil Baby, Gunna, and City Girls, with his rise covered by Highsnobiety, FADER, DJ Booth, and Complex.

Layton Greene
Layton Greene is a singer from East St. Louis, Illinois, who discovered her vocal talent at age seven, singing Keyshia Cole’s “Love” to her mother.
