Atlanta’s vibrant music scene came alive on June 7 as the Athlete of The Mic auditions took over the stage at Opium, drawing an energetic crowd of fans and music enthusiasts. The event, sponsored by The Athlete’s Foot, showcased some of the most dynamic and compelling new talent in the ATL.
The purpose of the competition was clear—to shine a spotlight on emerging talent and celebrate the artistry and skill required to master the mic. From rapid-fire rhymes to hard-hitting punchlines, participants poured their hearts into every verse, captivating the audience with their creativity and wordplay.
With a chance to open for Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash on the line, the competitors brought nothing but their A-game to the stage!
