Muni Long dropped by The Morning Hustle during BET Awards weekend at the Media House to dish on her new album. After breaking through with her 2021 hit “Hrs and Hrs,” which cracked the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, she signed with Def Jam Recordings. The track snagged a Grammy for Best R&B Performance and led her third album, *Public Displays of Affection: The Album* (2022). Her 2023 single “Made for Me” also made waves, peaking in the top 30. Throughout her career, Muni’s racked up three additional Grammy nominations, including Best New Artist, Best R&B Song for “Hrs and Hrs,” and Album of the Year for her work on H.E.R.’s *Back of My Mind* (2021).
