Some people move on after a breakup, maybe post a little “new hair, new me” selfie, hit the gym for their revenge body, or—if you’re really about that action—level up like Kim K and turn a scandal into an empire. But Taylor Jewell Richard?Oh no, she took the petty Olympics to gold medal levels.
According to court docs, the 18-year-old Texas woman was arrested for pulling up to her ex’s job and hitting play on their homemade sex tape—right in front of his customers. Sis didn’t just leak it; she hosted a damn viewing party at the District 249 Bar & Grill in Tomball, Texas, airing out her and ex-boyfriend Michael Bassett’s Valentine’s Day activities for all to see.
Let’s be clear—Bassett was not amused.
“She had me record it on her phone,” Bassett told KTRK. “I mean, I took those out of confidence, not thinking they would get out. I don’t got an OnlyFans or anything. I don’t sell pictures and stuff of my body.”
Well, sir, now you do—and your girl was handing out free subscriptions at the bar.
One of Bassett’s friends caught wind of the spectacle and sent him a Snapchat warning that Richard was out here pressing play on their private moments like it was a Super Bowl halftime show. But it wasn’t just his pride that took a hit—his business did, too.
Bassett, who owns a diesel maintenance company, claims customers were so put off by the tape that they took their business elsewhere. And while he could laugh off his boys calling him “Mickle Pickle”, the money loss hit different.
“I can handle my friends messing with me and whatnot. I can’t handle when I start losing money,” he admitted.
Now, instead of basking in the glory of her revenge, Richard is facing a felony charge for Unlawful Disclosure of Intimate Visual Material, which carries up to two years in prison.
So while Kim K flipped a scandal into a billion-dollar empire, Richard flipped hers into a mugshot and potential jail time. Maybe next time, just hit the gym, sis.
